ABOUT
Dr Dagnone is a Urologic Surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive surgical procedures for kidney stone removal, prostate resection and bladder tumor resection. He completed his MD at Queen's University and his urology residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS. He then returned to Ontario to complete an Endourology and Laparoscopy Fellowship at the University of Toronto, St. Michael's Hospital.
Dr. Dagnone is a staff surgeon at Trillium Health Partners and operates out of Mississauga Hospital, Queensway Health Centre and Credit Valley Hospital.
Dr. Dagnone is the Physician Lead for Urology at both the Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre and is a lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Dagnone is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCS(C)) and is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Canadian Urology Association (CUA), the American Urology Association (AUA), the Societe Internationale d'Urologie, as well as the Endourology Society.

SURGERIES - Surgery details will be provided by the office once confirmed. If you require a pre-op assessment prior to surgery, the office will provide the details of this appointment with your surgical date upon hospital booking. *** blood thinners and asprin need to be stopped before surgery - instructions will be provided at your pre-op appointment ***
CYSTOSCOPIES - Cystoscopy appointments are at the Queensway Health Centre (150 Sherway Drive). Please arrive one hour prior to your appointment in order to register at the main registration desk in the hospital lobby. There is no special preparation for cystoscopy - you can eat, drink and take your regular medications. You can also drive to and from your appointment.
SURGICAL CLINIC/AMBULATORY CARE APPOINTMENTS - Urology Ambulatory Care in-person appointments are at the Queensway Health Centre (150 Sherway Drive). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment in order to register at the main registration desk in the hospital lobby. *** stone patients will have a kub/xray completed upon arrival - no paper requisition required ***

IMAGING APPOINTMENTS (Ultrasound, CT, MRI or Biopsy appointments) - if you have a question or if you wish to reschedule your appointment, please contact the Diagnostic Imaging Department of the hospital directly at 416-521-4069.
* Please allow 2-4 weeks, prior to a follow up appointment for imaging results which require a discussion about next steps.
*Please allow 4-6 weeks, prior to a follow up appointment for biopsy and surgical pathology.
If you are an ACTIVE patient and require a prescription refill, please ask your pharmacy to FAX a request for authorization. (Plan ahead - allow 3-4 days for Dr. Dagnone's review and authorization.)

REZUM Water Vapor Therapy
REZUM is an outpatient treatment for men with BPH (enlarged prostate). It is an alternative to surgery with an aim at preservation of sexual function, while improving frustrating lower urinary tract symptoms.
